It's 97 days until the general election, and today we were greeted with the news of Britney Spears & Paris Hilton in an anti - Obama ad, TurdBlossom held in contempt of Congress, but there won't be a vote to enforce said contempt until who knows when, and "fellow Hoosier" (crap, I just threw up in my mouth a little), Dan Quayle, may be bustin' a move on the television machine. I don't know about you, but I'm in desperate need of a purification, so, here we go, courtesy of Edward R. Murrow:

And if there are any historians about fifty or a hundred years from how, and there should be preserved the kinescopes for one week of all three networks, they will there find recorded in black and white, or color, evidence of decadence, escapism, and insulation from the realities of the world in which we live."
